Inspired by Twitch, Streamer Mode provides a robust environment for broadcasting, watching, and interacting with live streams. It features an intuitive interface, real-time chat functionalities, and tools for streamers to monetize their content. Streamer Mode stands out by offering enhanced stream discoverability, a more personalized viewer experience through AI recommendations, and superior streaming quality.

Goals & Objectives: The goal was to develop a streamlined and engaging live streaming service that addresses the needs of both streamers and viewers. Streamer Mode focuses on improving stream discoverability, enhancing viewer engagement through interactive features, and providing comprehensive support for content creators to grow their audience and revenue.

Approach & Process:

  1. Discovery & Research: Began with an in-depth analysis of the current sports market, identifying areas of improvement and understanding user needs.
  2. Design/Development Phase: Implemented strategies to keep an agile development process, modern design principles, and specific user personas to go through the workflow of the application.
  3. Iteration: Conducted user interviews to refine the project based on feedback.
  4. Launch & Delivery: Ensured a seamless launch and am currently still hosting this project for many to use worldwide.

Outcome & Impact: Streamer Mode quickly rose to popularity, amassing over 5,000 active streamers and a daily viewership exceeding 20,000 within months of its launch. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with users highlighting the platform's user-friendly design, effective engagement tools, and the quality of streaming. Streamer Mode has effectively carved out its niche in the live streaming market, fostering a strong and growing community of dedicated users.
